How To: Nature Walk Meditation

I read somewhere that when we reimagine a walk in nature, it’s possible to experience the same benefits as if you were actually outside breathing fresh air in nature. Yesterday I was feeling really tired, so I tried it and I cannot explain how GOOD it felt!! I literally felt like my insides had been cleansed by cold, crisp, clean air☀️🌬

Here’s how I did it in case you want to try it too!

  • Get comfortable, close your eyes and focus on your breathing.

  • Focus on each part of your body, moving from your head down to your feet.

  • Visualize your feet moving and imagine that you are walking in nature. (I chose a forest in Big Sur💜!)

  • Notice the sights, sounds, smells and feeling of air on your face. I spend a lot of time breathing in and imagining I was breathing in sweet, cool, Big Sur air.

  • Imagine that you sit down and soak in the beautiful energy all around you.

  • Give gratitude for the space and stay as long as you want.

  • When you’re finished, visualize the energy from the ground soaking into your feet and the rest of your body.

I took this photo the last time I was in Big Sur and I can’t wait to go back! One of my happy places☺️
